Those who work in education know that the best way to learn a language is to speak it often, and in this sense the game is a great help. Sardoo is born for this, that is to say to have fun learning new words and expanding the knowledge of our language.
Sardoo can be used anywhere: at school, with friends, at home, on the beach in summer. Those who already know the Sardinian can play, but also those who are still learning it. Furthermore, Sardoo makes us understand how the Sardinian is one and only one, and that although there are small differences in pronunciation and vocabulary as in any living language, everyone must write in the same way.
Playing is very easy: you have to make a word to your partner or your companions, without mentioning the forbidden words. You have to talk a lot in Sardinian, and you don't have to: speak in Italian; mention the forbidden words; indicate; imitate.
To write, Sardoo mostly follows the Limba Sarda Comuna (LSC) experiment. Do not be afraid, it is not difficult: writing and speaking are not the same thing! For those who complain about the LSC: Sardoo tries to encourage the appreciation of a common spelling by writing all the prosthetics and using many geosinonyms, including some typical of southern Sardinia left outside the LSC (eg àcua / abba and others).
